    Date: 12.03.2024

    Surface Matter LDF 23
Surface Matter celebrate the materials we love with installations, events and a transformed material library for London Design Festival 2019. Focused on colour, pattern, collaboration and interaction with an emphasis on the future of sustainability, Surface Matter present the materials that surround and inspire us, with installations, workshops + talks.

    Moodboard Workshop Adriana Jaroslavsky

Held in our studio in, the workshop will show Adriana’s design process from initial point of inspiration through to theming, colour and material selection. All the tools will be provided alongside refreshments, and participants can take home a piece of their work.

Adriana will aim to teach participants about preparing for a project and understanding aesthetics along with comprehending materials. After the workshop there will be a chance to delve deeper into our materials library and to explore our new Mondrian inspired installation.

    Brunch + Learn Jack Trench

Learn about innovative and inspirational materials in our studio. A great opportunity for brands, architects, designers, makers and material enthusiasts who want to understand more about materials they love or perhaps they've never heard of before.

With refreshments available from The Pickle House and pastries from DayOld, guests will also get the chance to try out the interactive Pours decanter which will be housed in our studio for the duration of the festival.

In our materials studio, we'll have new material samples and displays alongside a new mirrored honeycomb door, new window designs and a Durat installation inspired by Mondrian.
