A new nautical pattern for the Baltic Sea
Durat, the Finnish producer of innovative and colourful solid surface material made from recycled plastic continues its support for Baltic Sea for another year. With the new marine colour, Durat continues its collaboration with the John Nurminen Foundation.

Blue speckles dot the light base colour giving a fresh look for the John Nurminen Foundation special colour, 730 JNS. 10% of the sales revenue from this pattern goes to the protection of the Baltic Sea through the foundation.

John Nurminen Foundation’s mission is to save the Baltic Sea and its heritage for future generations. They implement concrete Baltic Sea protection measures that bring results and ensure that the stories of the sea are passed on to future generations.

'The Baltic Sea is a unique and vulnerable ecosystem with incredible histories. We humans have benefited from the Baltic Sea for thousands of years and now it is our turn to give back. In its production, Durat focuses on the means of the circular economy and the efficient use of resources. We are pleased to continue our good cooperation in the brand new colour', says Annamari Arrakoski-Engard, CEO of the John Nurminen Foundation.
