    Create change with Surface Matter at London Design Festival, from the 16th - 20th of September

    SURFACE MATTER shine a light on the circular economy, believing that with the right planning and understanding, no materials should end up in landfill. This series of activities explores how we can connect and create change.

    With material sessions, workshops + networking events throughout the week, it's a great chance to learn more about innovative materials, how to maximise their potential and keep them in circulation - because change shouldn’t mean waste.

    Reduce, Reuse, Rethink. 
    These hands on sessions take a deep dive into all things materials, from evaluating sustainable credentials to learning about surfaces: their makeup, how to use them in the right way to improve impact and design-in circularity from the start. Discover how we can work towards a circular future.

    17 Sep 18.00 til late

    Sip + stroll will consist of a curated tour of installations and exhibitions, kicking off at the studio in London Fields.

    Walking through East London, stopping at Late night openings for Shoreditch Design Triangle, and end the night at the SDT after party at The Looking Glass Cocktail Club. A perfect opportunity to network, enjoy some drinks and light bites and soak up what Shoreditch Design Triangle has to offer.

    Curated Sip and paint networking session, where people get to be creative and paint on reclaimed material

    Create Change Sip + Paint

    19 Sep 18.30-20.30

    In collaboration with Design Can, explore your creativity by painting on reclaimed materials from Material Rescue. The event will also feature talks from special guests, light bites, refreshments, networking and good vibes.

    After the session you can continue to explore your creativity, discover new material potential, get experimental, prototype design ideas and help keep materials valuable forever. Order reclaimed Plasticiet, Richlite and Durat in a selection of colours and sizes on our website.
