Surface Design Show shows the best in material innovation, with over 180 exhibitions, Main Stage + Gallery Stage debates, interviews + presentations, New Talent debuts, Surface Spotlight Live, PechaKucha evening + awards presentation. The edition, themed Shaping Communities, is a real exploration on how we can improve our surroundings for all through collaboration + meaningful design solutions.

Surface Matter shows a new exhibit inspired by the raw forms of materials, Particulate. Dive in, follow the pathway through shapes, moving through space, colour, finish, use and possibility. Get to know each surface, formed of different particles, each with their own unique story. See what materials are made of and how they can come together to form a bigger picture. How surfaces can improve a space or a product – making it feel better, last longer, be stronger, more healthy or more inspiring.
