Durat is a sustainable solid surface material made with recycled content that's designed to be reused or recycled again. With a silky, warm feel and almost limitless colour options, it’s looks great and stands up to daily use in bathrooms in homes, hotel and restaurants spaces and office washrooms.
Whether you’re designing a minimalist en-suite or a bold hotel washroom, Durat sinks can be seamlessly fabricated into vanities or integrated with countertops. Corners can be rounded, splashbacks made flush and edges shaped to suit your style — all with smooth, seamless transitions that easily wipe clean, with little maintenance that can be refreshed over time.
Design with colour
Durat's luxurious look and feel comes in 300 Durat and RAL Classic base colours, with standard speckle patterns that can be finished with a satin-matte or polished surface.
Washbasins made using Palace Collection colours have less visible speckles in the basin because of how they are cast. Alternatively designers can specify a contrasting colour basin and worktop, or minimise the difference by creating a custom vanity piece from sheets rather than as a casted sink. Custom drain covers made from Durat can be selected for pop-up wastes.
Kitchen sinks made in the lightest colours require more care to avoid a build up of hot coffee, tea or wine, and it's a good idea for clients to rinse with tap water at the same time. Any stains that do occur can always be cleaned. For clients who want less maintenance or boiling taps, the stainless steel sinks can be clad with Durat sheets.
Durat Collection vanities + sink basins
Durat offers a wide collection of over 25 standard basins in round, oval and rectangular forms, suitable for handwashing and kitchen use. Sinks are cast for strength and consistency. They can be positioned lengthwise, crosswise and side-by-side — giving designers maximum flexibility in form with layouts that can accommodate longer wash stations and built-in furniture.
Block sinks have straight lines, and Block IV and Block XIV are typically used in kitchens and utility rooms because they're deeper for washing up. Soft block, oval and round basins have rounded corners and are often installed integrated or top mounted on a worktop. Cradle sinks and the small Kehto II sink have softly curved sides which work well as handwash stations.
An accessible range of basins can be installed in domestic, public, hospitality, hotel and commercial environments.
Durat sinks can be installed on top of countertops, undermount, or freestanding vanities supported by furniture or brackets.

With seamless joins, the non-porous surfaces are hygienic and easy to maintain, built for demanding environments and backed by a 15 year material warranty and 5 year warranty on bespoke manufactured vanity units and furniture. Durat vanities combine colour and circularity, with a verified Environmental Product Declaration and a takeback programme to reduce waste and keep quality materials in use.
