    Laser letters

    router richlite letters

ByALEX designed this letter set so you could see some beautifully crafted letters, pick them up and hold a piece of typography in your hand. The font, Replica, was designed using a detailed grid system and reduced letter width. Its angular geometry and technical shapes inspired Alex to develop much of his furniture including his original A Stool, and now these letters made of Richlite. We share a love of functional, tactile materials that will last a lifetime. Hand made by Shape Studio, each letter has been routed and hand finished with the faces left raw. On the reverse a small logo has been laser etched to commemorate our collaboration.
