Material Connexion
at Ravensbourne
Kennedy Twaddle designed a materials library for Ravensbourne University, the first UK institution to introduce a Material Connexion collection. The library holds 500 materials Rave students studying architecture, design, fashion and technology can use to better understand how materials impact design and manufacturing.
All of the materials are presented on boards held in a series of sleek library shelves clad in the matte black paper composite material, called Richlite which is surrounded by stainless steel frames.
