    Emergents

    Craft Scotland

    Date: 08.03.2024

Working in partnership, Craft Scotland and Emergents will bring contemporary handmade Scottish craft to the London Design Fair. The pavilion champions the innovative spirit, exceptional craftsmanship and world-class reputation of Scottish craft.

Craft Scotland is the national agency for craft. It works to unite, and inspire craft through creating opportunities for makers and audiences. Emergents is a community interest company that aims to support the development of creative careers, enterprise and the economy in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and beyond.

Jonathan Pang will showcases his 'Phloem' range of furniture pieces. He uses Richlite in 12mm to make the back of the chair in this collection. The lamp base and stand are made with the 25mm Richlite. This range of conceptual furniture, with clean lines and subtle details is inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian Design. The deep, black Richlite contrasts against the light timber and bright red accents.
