Designed to endure
From travelling sculptures to outdoor furniture and saunas, Richlite is being used in projects where materials need to do more than look good.
Repeated installation. Extreme temperatures. Rain, snow and sun. The right material needs to stand up to all of it — while still giving designers the finish and flexibility they’re looking for.
Built for repeated use
This is Loop’s Geist is a large-scale sculpture shaped like an octagonal carousel, set to travel across at least three countries and nine cities over five years.
With repeated installation, deconstruction and international travel built into the brief, the material needed to be strong enough to take the journey.
6mm Richlite R50 forms the structure around the interactive mirrored illusion, bringing a clean, durable finish to the piece.
Made for extremes
In Northern Minnesota, subzero winters meet humid summers materials face constant stress. Cedar & Stone meets the challenge with a custom sauna wrapped entirely in Richlite.
Outdoor saunas push materials to the limit. Interiors exceed 90°C while exteriors face subzero storms.
Richlite holds strong, is heat resistant, low-maintenance and stays intact without warping, cracking or expanding.
Designed to weather
Richlite R50 develops a natural patina as it weathers, giving the material more character over time rather than simply looking worn.
Durable, low maintenance and suitable for both commercial and residential applications, it’s a material that can age as well as it performs.
