    Deloitte

    Built for interaction

Deloitte’s headquarters at We Land in Ruoholahti supports how people work today: flexible, connected, and built to adapt over time. The building brings together workplaces that encourage interaction, respond to changing needs, and meet high environmental standards, including BREEAM.

At the heart of the lobby, the reception counter creates a strong first impression while setting the tone for the wider material palette. Clad in Richlite Black Diamond, the surface pairs a confident, understated aesthetic with the durability required for high-use environments, while precision-machined vertical grooves add texture and depth.

This material choice is driven as much by performance as by appearance. Richlite offers long-term dimensional stability, inherent antibacterial properties, and heat resistance up to 177°C, making it well suited to both front-of-house and hospitality settings. Across the building, the material creates consistency while reducing the need for frequent replacement. It is a practical approach to sustainability, focused on how a space performs over time, not just how it looks on day one.
