Café Carusel

Installed in 2007 and still going strong, the Durat tabletops at Café Carusel are a testament to design that lasts. Rather than being replaced after years of daily use, the surfaces have been refinished and returned to service, extending their lifespan while preserving the café’s bright, welcoming character.

Nearly two decades on, the project showcases one of Durat’s greatest strengths: the ability to be restored, refreshed, and reused. It's a simple but powerful example of circular design in action, where durability, repairability, and long-term performance keep materials in use for longer.
