Circular seating
Designed by SCAU Architecture and NP2F, the Adidas Arena at Porte de la Chapelle demonstrates how recycled materials can perform at the scale of major public infrastructure. More than 10,000 seats are manufactured using Le Pavé's Soft White & Black 003 material, transforming 70,000 kilograms of recycled waste into a durable seating solution for one of Paris's newest sporting and entertainment venues.
The deep black surface, flecked with visible recycled fragments, gives each seat a distinctive identity while making the material's origins part of the design language. Installed throughout the arena bowl, the seating demonstrates how high-performance infrastructure and circular material thinking can work hand in hand, proving that large-scale public projects needn't compromise on either durability or design ambition.
